When we found out about José Nero it was love at first sight! (Love for food, of course). The Nero family moved to Setúbal in 1680 (yes, 3 centuries ago). Ever since the beginning this family owned company has been dedicated to producing the best quality conserves with the freshest ingredients, prioritizing Portuguese products. 🇵🇹

The perfect combination of Portuguese flavours resulted in the codfish, olive oil and garlic conserve. Add it to chickpeas, to a pepper salad or simply on bread – we LOVE it! 🤤
