Who doesn’t love a good avocado, super creamy and tasty?
How to eat avocados you ask?
Either on top of bread with eggs for a late brunch, as a guacamole with nachos for an aperitivo with friends, or even make an avocado soup, you’ll see that a good mature avocado is often a good option 🙂
The problem with this delicious exotic fruit, is that the avocado production can really be bad for the environment. Why, you ask? Because avocado culture is water consuming. And shoping avocados on the other side of the planet, when it’s not the season, has catastrophic consequences.
Our avocados come from Algarve, where they are grown sustainably.
The good avocado season in Portugal is the rain season (rain, water, water, rain, do you start to see the link?).
That’s why on MiAM, we’ll have some fresh avocados available from February to May.
And that’s it 🙂
