Portugal is a country full of resources. From farmhouse butter to organic fish conserves, passing by biological flour: we have got it covered! Portuguese food is the best in the world. No doubt. BUT, sometimes we want something different… Something from another place, perhaps from another continent 🌏
For those who love to travel the world with their palates we present you: Fermen.table. Simona and Henry moved to Portugal to make hand crafted and unpasteurized products, following the same traditional methods of wild fermentation our ancestors once followed 🤩
“What’s kimchi?”, you ask! Kimchi is a Korean condiment made from fermented vegetables! Fermen.table kimchi is made with fermented cabbage, onion, pear and other seasonal veggies 🥬 Full of probiotics, it’s as tasty as healthy. When your kimchi is still “new” use it raw, on salads or bread. As time goes by kimchi flavours develop and become more intense. this is the perfect time to make kimchi recipes like kimchi pancakes, kimchi pasta or kimchi jjigae 🤤
